Kiatoukaysy Family Inc operates in compliance with the Wisconsin Annotated Code, Chapter 181, as amended. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, with no aim for personal financial gain. We are dedicated to the historical and genealogical exploration of the Kiatoukaysy lineage, with a profound commitment to safeguarding its cultural legacy and strengthening kinship connections. Our mission extends beyond the present, aiming to broaden the perspectives of our members for the advancement of future generations.
We are a community that shares a common ancestor, Kiatoukaysy Lor. His story is one of tragedy and triumph. Left for dead as an infant in the jungles of Laos after his parents were brutally murdered by marauders, Kiatoukaysy was found and adopted by Nom Xwm Lor. Tragedy struck a second time when Kiatoukaysy lost his wife and kids to illnesses. He remarried and had six sons an adopted son and a daughter. The Kiatoukaysy community is made up of the descendants of his second marriage, along with all who have been adopted into the Kiatoukaysy fold. We also welcome anyone that is of Nom Xwm Lor's lineage or lineages of his paternal nephews who wish to be part of Kiatoukaysy. Our story of perseverance and triumph continues to be strong and blooming with its 7th and 8th generation, with the majority thriving in the United States.
